As events become an increasingly important part of our strategy and way for us to connect with our audience, Jess Edkins is joining Business Insider as Vice President of BI Live!
I'm so excited for her to work together with Hannah Diddams and Kim Last to lead us into the next phase of BI Live's growth — building on our momentum, scaling what's working, and pushing us to do new and ambitious things.
Jess comes to us from The Atlantic, where she created and produced events that delivered real editorial impact and strong business results. She's a proven operator and leader, and her background in the arts brings a creative edge to her work, too.
She'll be working alongside an already strong and growing team — including Ronnie Ervin, who recently joined event sales — as we continue to scale BI Live to its full potential.
Following our standout work in Davos, we're pacing ahead of plan, with Cannes on the horizon (including the return of our signature CMO breakfast!) and an exciting new flagship New York event debuting this fall.
