  • The 2026 ACM Awards were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
  • Celebrity attendees both impressed and disappointed with their fashion on the red carpet.
  • Shania Twain, Kacey Musgraves, and Keith Urban were just some of the stars who made appearances.

Las Vegas went country this weekend.

Celebrities and musicians visited the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Nevada on Sunday night to celebrate the annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

Amid the musical performances and awards given throughout the night, there were also plenty of high-fashion moments.

Some stars looked stunning on the red carpet, while others needed a few outfit tweaks.

From Kacey Musgraves to Shania Twain, these are the best and worst outfits we saw at the ACM Awards this year.

Lainey Wilson was almost unrecognizable without her signature bell-bottoms and cowgirl hat.

Even as her career has evolved, Wilson's style has remained largely the same. She always wears bell-bottom pants, a large cowgirl hat, and statement jewelry.

That went out the window on Sunday night, when the country star arrived at the ACM Awards wearing an orange strapless gown from Marmar Halim.

The pleated piece, with its fitted bodice and floor-length skirt, perfectly suited the musician and was elegantly accessorized with dangling earrings.

Shania Twain's silver dress could have worked without her gloves.

Falguni Shane Peacock designed Twain's eye-catching dress. The strapless piece was covered in silver and black sequins, with the latter arranged in the shape of a panther across its skirt.

It also had satin strips attached at the chest, which flowed beside her as she posed for photos.

The dress could have made for a strong fashion moment, but it was unfortunately styled with above-the-elbow leather gloves. They completely contrasted the gown's elegance.

Kacey Musgraves looked like an old-Hollywood starlet.

She attended the ACM Awards in a black Tanner Fletcher gown that stood out from anything else on the red carpet.

Her strapless dress had white, ruffled lace across its neckline, which matched the lace swirls that extended down its bodice.

The gown was stunning on its own, but even more so with black pumps, diamond and pearl jewelry, and a vintage-inspired hairstyle.

Kelsea Ballerini can do better than a simple, sleeveless dress.

She arrived in a metallic Roberto Cavalli design that was sleeveless, tan, and embellished with gold appliques from top to bottom.

Though Ballerini looked pretty, her gown wasn't memorable.

It would have been more striking with a shorter skirt, a more fitted bodice, and, if worn with an updo hairstyle.

Tucker Wetmore proved that monochrome looks are always fashionable.

Wetmore posed on the red carpet in a powder-blue suit with black detailing, proving he's a power dresser.

Not only did the unique color suit him, but the suit was also tailored to perfection, making Wetmore look sharp.

He wore it with a silver cross necklace, black sunglasses, and a large cowboy hat.

Keith Urban's look was too casual for the awards ceremony.

Urban wore sneakers, baggy cargo pants, a blue T-shirt, and a gray blazer to the ACM Awards.

Not only was the outfit too casual for the event, but it was also entirely mismatched.

He could have swapped his pants for black trousers and his shoes for boots to elevate the look.

Ella Langley let her jewelry do all the talking.

The rising country star attended in a white, strapless gown designed by Andrew Kwon.

The satin design featured a strapless corset bodice over a chiffon skirt that flowed into a short train.

The dress was simple but elegant, and it was made even more fun with Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott jewelry pieces.

Tyler Hubbard should have worn different pants.

The former Florida Georgia Line singer sported a John Varvatos outfit that mostly worked for him. He wore a white T-shirt, a tan blazer, blue jeans, and suede boots.

He also donned a brown leather belt and layered gold necklaces.

His jeans distracted from the look. The light-wash pants were intentionally designed to look dirty, and didn't make sense on a red carpet.

A pair of dark-brown trousers could have made all the difference.

Shaboozey embraced his personal style and had a memorable fashion moment.

You couldn't miss Shaboozey when he hit the ACM red carpet.

He wore metallic pants, scuffed boots, a white button-up top, and a leather duster jacket for the base of his outfit. He also wore a statement belt, diamond jewelry, sunglasses, and a large cowboy hat.

The outfit was unique, on theme, and representative of Shaboozey's daring style.
